Can Caldera build what I need?

You came here because something has to be made. A part, a sub-assembly, a complete product. Probably to a specification that doesn’t allow for guesswork.

We build across processes including machining, fabrication, stamping, forming, welding, and finishing, in volumes ranging from prototype to medium-volume production. The point isn’t the length of our equipment list. It’s that you can hand a program to one partner instead of stitching together three.

Precision machining

CNC turning, milling, and multi-axis work across Mazak, Puma, Mori-Seiki, Okuma, and Samsung SMEC platforms. We hold tolerances that engineering teams specify when “close enough” isn’t an option, including precision components for power distribution, defense systems, copper bar and busbar work for electrical infrastructure, and high-specification industrial equipment.

Fabrication

Flat laser cutting up to 16 kW combined capacity. Tube laser. Press brakes on Bystronic and Trumpf platforms for complex bends. Welding across MIG, TIG (Miller Dynasty 350), and laser welding for joints where conventional welding would distort the part. We fabricate what the drawing calls for, even when the drawing isn’t fully resolved.

Stamping and forming

Bliss OBI presses 20–215 ton. Verson presses to 200 ton. AMADA CNC punch presses. Tube bending. Hydraulic forming for parts that won’t survive cold work. Stamping at Caldera doesn’t run on legacy tooling alone. It runs on parts that are designed for the press, not forced through it.

Assemblies and integrated builds

Where most of our customers’ real complexity lives. Sub-assembly through mechanical integration, with components sourced or built in-house as the program requires. We build to print, but we also build to your sequence, slotting into your production flow rather than expecting you to slot into ours.

Finishing

Powder coat in-house. Plating, anodizing, and specialty finishes through coordinated supplier partners. Single quote, single PO, single point of accountability. Finishing doesn’t have to be a separate vendor relationship.

Materials handled

Steels (carbon, alloy, stainless). Aluminum. Copper and brass. High-performance and custom alloys on request, including specifications driven by defense, energy, and electrical applications.

Volume range

Prototype through medium-volume production. We are not a one-off machine shop, and we are not a high-volume commodity stamper. We are built for the middle: programs where the engineering matters, the quantities matter, and the relationship lasts longer than a single PO.

That’s what we build.
